Israel and Palestine have been fighting for years, starting around the mid-19 hundreds. Still today, the people and culture are greatly affected by this conflict.
Over 82 percent of the population is made up of Jews, while the remaining 18 percent consists of Arabs who are mainly Muslims. They live mostly in metropolitan areas which are abundantly populated. The people seem very artistic, with many jobs being associated with film-making and other things of the sort. The economy has been growing rapidly and the quality of living is high (despite the defense expenses). The struggles to keep this economy are rising. Immigrants are taking a lot of housing and employment, while natural resources are scarce. Also, they are very isolated from other Jewish states. Through all these problems, the economy is still rising. This is due to economic diversification, a skilled and educated work force, high investments, and a commitment to research and development.
The majority of the Palestinian population is Arab, speaking the Arabic language. The group of people consists of all different religions. People of Palestinian origin are scattered all over the globe, found in large numbers in South American countries. Their culture consist of a lot of art: including embroidery, dance, literature, painting, clothes, and music.
